COLOURS
There are seven different colours:
seal, blue, chocolate, lilac, red, cream and tortie.
Beside them there can be also the Tabby (or Lynx), in other words the stripes of the colour.
Here they are:
SEAL: the colour is brown litteraly "like seals", that can vary from dark to light brown. In colourpoint ones the bearings are brown and in the mitted and bicolor are pink.
BLUE: the colour of the points is grey-ivory and it is the diluition of the Seal. The bearing in the colourpoint are grey but in
the mitted and the bicolor are pink.
CHOCOLATE: the colour of points is chocolate brown. The nose is burned pink and the bearing are salmon pink.
LILAC: it's also called Frost. The points are grey-lilac. The nose is lilac and the bearings are coral. The lilac is the diluition of the Chocolate.
RED: it's also called flame. The points are orange-red. The tail is streaked ring and the bearing are coral.
CREAM: the points are from champagne to apricot (similar to cream). The cream is the diluition of the red.
TORTIE: the tortie is present only in the girl, the points are some red or cream and some seal or blue or chocolate or lilac. The point are positioned in manner random. The
tortie can be: seal-tortie, blue-tortie, chocolate-tortie, lilac-tortie.
When a tortie has the Tabby she is called Torbie.
